My name is Katie Short, and I currently serve as the Vice President of Pledge Education. I am here to facilitate your new member experience and guide you through the pledging process. The new member experience is a unique opportunity to integrate into a chapter of dedicated brothers and develop into a professional. This time will allow you to Connect, Grow, and Thrive.

Connect
The pledging program is designed to facilitate meeting the brothers of Delta Sigma Pi, putting you on the path to forming genuine, lifelong relationships. Deltasig not only provides valuable connections to the professional world through alumni, faculty, and events, but forges friendships that will last long after graduation. During your 5 week pledge process, you will have a mentor to help you navigate the professional world and a big brother to deepen your connection to Deltasig and our brothers. You will also have the opportunity to go through this process with your pledge class. Connect with us and become part of the Delta Sigma Pi family!
Grow
During the pledging process, you will develop your professional skills by attending guest speaker events and workshops designed to jumpstart your career. Our brothers will help you finetune your resume and prepare for anything- from interviews to business etiquette. You will also learn about the history and traditions of DSP in pledge education meetings. You can expect to step outside your comfort zone and grow with us. You will be able to see what we value in our four pillars by attending a professional, service and fundraising event. Grow with Deltasig as you become a young professional.
Thrive
Most importantly, the pledging process at Delta Sigma Pi will give you a family on campus. We have brothers from a multitude of backgrounds with varying interests and aspirations, but you will find your place in Deltasig. This process holds some of out brother’s fondest memories as the time they found their home on campus and met some amazing people through our brotherhood, professional, service, fundraising and social events.
